Delete your GolArena account

You can permanently delete your GolArena account and the personal data associated with it at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed. Deletion is available to every account holder in two ways:

Option 1 — delete from your account settings (fastest)

Sign in at golarena.io (or in the app), then go to Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account and confirm. The deletion runs immediately once confirmed. You can also export your data as a JSON archive from the same screen before deleting.

Option 2 — request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in, email privacy@golarena.io from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request belongs to the account owner and complete the deletion. This works even if you have uninstalled the app.

What is deleted

Your identity is erased: email, username, display name, phone number and profile photo are wiped from your account record and the photo file itself is deleted from storage. Your password is destroyed and every session is revoked, so the account can never be signed into again.

These are deleted outright: your profile photo, every data-export archive you have generated, the screenshots you uploaded of your betslips, your saved Bet Builder runs, your devices and push tokens, your credit balance, and the day-markers we use to count activity. The network and device details attached to your security records are wiped at the same time.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What stays, and in what form

Some records survive, and we would rather be exact than reassuring. Your betslip entries, predictions, messages, support tickets and financial ledger rows are kept as transactional records for up to 7 years where the law requires it — tax and anti-fraud record-keeping.

Those rows keep an internal account reference, so they are pseudonymised rather than fully anonymous: nothing in them names you, and the account they point to no longer holds your email, phone, name or photo, but they are still linked to one another. We say so plainly because “nothing retained identifies you” would be a stronger claim than the truth. Messages you sent stay visible to the people you sent them to, attributed to a deleted user.
